Bujumbura, Burundi – In a press release of the integrated platform of the civil society PISC -BURUNDI and CAPES + this Tuesday, March 20, 2018, these two associations were surprised by the report of March 3rd,  2018 on the human rights in Burundi presented by Mr. Doudou Diène, the new Chairman of the UN Investigation Commission on Burundi. Mr. Doudou Diène was appointed on 1 February 2018. These two associations insisted that it was not possible that he had sufficient time in such a short time to write a report.

Mr. BURIKUKIYE Hamza Venant, the legal representative of CAPES +  called upon Burundians to confess, fast and pray so that there could be positive reports from the UN experts on human rights in Burundi.
